1. Information We Collect

TripMemo collects information you provide directly to us when you sign in, create trips, upload photos, and use our services. This includes:

•Account information (email address, display name, username, and account identifiers). TripMemo uses Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In; we do not store a TripMemo password.
•Profile information (name, avatar)
•Travel content (trip details, photos, notes, and other content you choose to create or upload)
•Approximate or precise location data when you choose to tag memories or use map features

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

•Provide, maintain, and improve our services
•Process your requests and transactions
•Send you technical notices and support messages
•Understand app usage, measure attribution and marketing performance, and improve the app

3. Information Sharing

Your trips and content are private by default. We only share personal information when you choose to share a trip, where it is needed to operate TripMemo, or where required by law:

•With collaborators you explicitly invite to your trips
•When required by law or to protect our rights
•With service providers that help us operate the app, process subscriptions, measure app performance, and diagnose technical issues

4. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit, secure authentication, and access controls. No service can guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

•Access your personal data
•Export your data (via Settings)
•Correct or update your information
•Delete your account and data (via Settings)

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where we're required by law to retain certain information.

7. Children's Privacy

TripMemo is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through the app.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to help us operate and improve TripMemo:

Mixpanel (analytics): Tracks app usage patterns and feature engagement to help us improve the user experience. It may receive device information, app version, identifiers, and usage events.

Sentry (error monitoring): Collects crash reports and error logs to help us identify and fix bugs. May include device information and user identifiers for debugging purposes.

RevenueCat (subscriptions): Manages subscription billing and purchase verification. It processes subscription status and purchase history; payments are processed by the relevant app store, not by TripMemo.

Supabase (database): Stores your account and content data on secure, encrypted servers.

Mapbox (maps): Provides mapping services. When you use map features, Mapbox may receive location and device information needed to provide those features.

AppsFlyer (attribution and analytics): Helps us measure how people find and use TripMemo. It may receive device or advertising identifiers, app interaction events, and subscription or purchase events for attribution and marketing measurement.

Meta / Facebook App Events (marketing measurement): Helps us measure advertising and app events. It may receive account identifiers, contact details such as email address and name when available, device or advertising identifiers, and app interaction or purchase events for attribution and marketing measurement.
